Harshit Joshi is a visual artist with a very personal and central work theme. His work also shows a sensitivity to the contemporary world.

Harshit Joshi dropped out in the 3rd year (2012) of his education and continues with his own art practice and has started working outdoors. Several drawings have been further investigated and deepened in series. He started in 2011 with the painting series “Eye a medium”. These works were based on emotions and gestures of eyes. He discovered that invisible movements of the eyes between people are always more effective than the visible movements. He painted those invisible movements.

He started this series in late 2011, and in 2013 lived in seclusion to focus on his works. In 2014 he painted a subseries ‘’Women and Eyes’’. After that, he started exhibiting his works and gained recognition through selections in national exhibitions such as “Sczcc & Art Society of India” in 2016 and 2017.

From 2018 he is working on his new series of paintings ‘’Grey; As little as possible’’. Currently, for the last 3 years, he is gradually working on his ongoing artistic research project “Mutation”, a series based on various media. It will contain mediums such as video, installations, sculptures, drawing, painting etc.
